My Hero Academia 2 Episodic OVA Will Debut On Crunchyroll on 15th August!

Official website of online anime streaming site Crunchyroll and the website of anime franchise My Hero Academia on 03rd August 2020 broke the news that they will release a 2 episodic OVA of the anime. The OVA episodes are titled "Make It! Do-Or-Die Survival Training, Part 1" and "Make It! Do-Or-Die Survival Training, Part 2". The OVA takes place just before the U.A. High School students get their pro-hero licenses. Crunchyroll announced that it will stream the anime on 15th August 2020 at 8:00 a.m.

Crunchyroll also revealed that the My Hero Academia OVA episodes will be available for viewing for members in the following territories: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean, as well as Europe (excluding English, French and German-speaking territories), CIS, Israel, Lebanon, Northern Africa (excluding Egypt and Libya), Central Africa, and Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cape Verde, Comoros, Ivory Coast, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Niger, Senegal, Seychelles, and Togo.


The My Hero Academia website, on the other hand, announced that the OVA will be distributed worldwide on the paid video distribution service of each country at midnight on 16th August 2020 (Japan Time).


As per the special website for Original Animation Episode, the OVA will be available on Delivery services such as Hulu, D Anime Store, U-NEXT, DTV, Unlimited Animation, Hikari TV, J:COM On Demand, TELASA and Milplus for unlimited viewing service. The OVA will also be available for a charge per view basis on Amazon Prime Video (Rental), DMM.com, Google Play, GYAO! Store, HAPPY! Video, J:COM On Demand, Milplus, RakutenTV, TELASA, TSUTAYA TV, VIDEX, GeoTV, Niconico Channel, Bandai Channel, Hikari TV, Video Market and Movie Full Plus.


Funimation studio produced the 2 episodic OVA. The studio describes the new OVA episodes as, "In this brand-new adventure, some Class 1-A students are sent to hone their survival skills at a training course. Having yet to receive their provisional licenses, they’re eager to cut loose and have a little fun. They quickly discover that the danger they face is no simulation! It’s going to take their combined training, teamwork, and quick thinking if they’re going to pass this assignment!”.
