'Chandra Has', The Indian Mythology Manga Ends on December 9

Manga Mogura's Twitter account recently revealed that the January 2021 issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shounen Magazine announced that Monji Yuki's Chandra Has manga will end on December 9, 2020.

Kodansha describes the story as:

"This world was once saved by seven heroes… The heiress of one of those heroes, Himalaya, took on dragons with her abilities, but she was eventually buried in darkness.

Search for the truth…!"

The story concept is hugely based on Indian mythology, as the name of the manga derives from the famous sword of the Indian God, Lord Shiva. The main character, Himalaya is based on the Mountain range that India borders with four other countries. Some of the characters in the manga are also based on the characters in Indian mythology.

Yuki launched the manga in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shounen Magazine on September 9, 2019. It comprises of two volumes.
