Love Stage Live-Action Movie Adaptation !! Trailer Released!

Another delightful news for anime lovers. The official website of the live-action film adaptation of boys-love romantic ‘Love Stage’ manga has released the trailer for its live-action film adaptation on Monday.

The website also revealed that the film will screen at the Cine Libre Ikebukuro theatre in Tokyo starting on October 2, and will screen at the Cine Libre Umeda theatre in Osaka starting on October 9.


The much-loved manga tells you the story about a boy, Izumi Sena who is born into a very popular family of entertainers. Izumi, although, doesn't follow the entertainment career as much as his family and has always followed the Otaku culture. College going Izumi has been trying hard to become a successful manga creator, but eventually ends up with starring in a television commercial. He, on one eventful day stumbles upon ultra-famous actor Ryōma, who instantly originates rather strong feelings for our Izumi.

The series was released by its creators Taishi Zaou and Eiki Eiki in 2010 and launched its final edition in November 2016 after a successful run. Viz Media's SuBLime imprint released the manga in English.

The manga inspired a 10-episode anime in July 2014, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired. Sentai Filmworks released the series with the OVA on home video in North America. The company began streaming an English dub for the series on HIDIVE in March 2019.
